Learn To Play ALAMO HOLD’EM™  Poker with Poker Chips

ALAMO HOLD’EM™  is a community card poker game. It follows the general rules of poker for the best five card poker hand. Players are battling to win the TITLE:   ALAMO SURVIVOR®.

Thirteen Steps To Victory or Defeat

Step   1:   Shuffle and cut a 52 card deck of Poker Cards.  Ante up or play with blinds.

Step   2:   The dealer deals every player 3 Weapon Cards face down (See Layout).  One card at a time to each player in

a clockwise direction.  Starting with the player to his/her left.

Step   3:   Players look at their Weapon Cards.

Step   4:   First betting round.

Step   5:   The dealer burns the top card of the deck.  And deals 2 cards face up to the North Wall (See Layout).  And deals 2

cards face up to the South Wall (See Layout).  These cards are community cards – cards used by every player.

The players choose the wall that gives them the best poker hand.

Step   6:   Second betting round.

Step   7:   The dealer burns the top card of the deck.  And deals 2 cards face up to the West Wall (See Layout).  And deals 2

cards face up to the East Wall (See Layout).  If the East Wall or West Wall improves your poker hand, choose that

wall to make the best poker hand possible.

Only one Wall can be used.  Other players can use the same Wall.  No mixing Wall Cards.

Step   8:   Third betting round.

Step   9:   The dealer burns the top card of the deck.  And deals 1 card face up in the middle of the walls.  This is the Well Card

(See Layout).  The Well Card is part of every player’s hand.  It is the sixth card of the poker hand.  It can improve

the players’ poker hands.  Players can use any 5 cards of their 6 card hand.

Step 10:   Fourth betting round.

Step 11:   Showdown.  Players still in play for the poker chip pot show their hands to see who has the best poker hand.

The player with the best poker hand will win the pot, if he/she survives the Cannon Card.

Step 12:   The dealer burns the top card of the deck.  And deals the Cannon Card.  1 card dealt face up and placed in the

corner of the South Wall (See Layout).  The Cannon Card is a killer card.  It can destroy a player’s Weapon Cards,

                        a Wall or the Well.

If the Cannon Card’s rank (Example: King) matches:

                            a)  the Well Card – all the players’ poker hands are destroyed. The poker chip pot stays in for the next play.

                            b)  any of the players’ Weapon Cards – that player is destroyed and out of play for the pot.

                            c)  any of the Wall Cards – that Wall or those Walls are destroyed and cannot be used by any of the players.

Players must choose another Wall to make a poker hand.

Step 13:   The best hand after the Cannon Card has been played wins the poker chip pot.  Play continues by repeating the

previous steps, until one player has won all of the chips in the final showdown.  That player wins the Title!
